  • ☀️ Intraday (30 min - 6 hours) - Same-day trend analysis
  • 🌊 Swing (2-7 days) - Multi-day trend observation
  • 🏔️ Positional (Weeks to months) - Medium-term trend direction

Understanding the Trend Indicators

Trend Direction Display

Each stock shows one of three trend states for your selected timeframe:

  • ↑ Uptrend (Green) - Price has been moving upward
  • ↓ Downtrend (Red) - Price has been moving downward
  • → Sideways (Gray) - No clear directional movement

Note: These are observations of past price movement, not predictions or recommendations. Past trends do not guarantee future performance.

Signal Strength (Confidence %)

The percentage indicates the strength of the observed trend:

  • 80-100% - Strong trend alignment across timeframes
  • 60-80% - Moderate trend consistency
  • 40-60% - Weak or mixed signals
  • Below 40% - No clear trend direction

Support & Resistance Levels

Each display includes key price levels:

  • Support - Historical price level where buying interest was observed
  • Resistance - Historical price level where selling pressure was observed
  • Distance % - How far current price is from these levels

Disclaimer: These levels are based on historical data and technical calculations. They are NOT predictions of future price behavior.

Filtering and Sorting

Direction Filter

Use the direction filter to view:

  • All - See all stocks
  • Bullish - Only stocks showing upward trends
  • Bearish - Only stocks showing downward trends

Sort Options

  • Symbol - Alphabetical order

Educational Tips for Analysis

1. Understand Your Learning Goals

Different timeframe views suit different learning objectives:

  • Learning day trading concepts? → Study Scalp/Intraday views
  • Understanding swing analysis? → Focus on Swing/Positional views
  • Studying long-term trends? → Observe Investment view

2. Observe Timeframe Alignment

When multiple timeframes show similar direction, it indicates stronger trend consistency. This is an educational observation, not a trading signal.

3. Study S/R Level Behavior

Observe how prices historically behave near support and resistance levels. This helps understand market psychology concepts.

4. Compare Across Timeframes

Notice how the same stock may show different trends on different timeframes. This demonstrates why professional analysis considers multiple perspectives.
